That’s how you do a classic, and top-ranked Alcoa and second-ranked Covington staged that and then some in the Class 3A BlueCross Bowl on Saturday at Tennessee Tech.

Alcoa senior and Tennessee Titans Mr. Football winner Walker Russell capped a dream season with the go-ahead touchdown from a yard away with 16 seconds remaining. Adonis Salter sacked Chargers quarterback Brock Lomax on the game’s final snap on the ensuing series.
