The state football championships are always a big weekend for Blount Press Row. It means we’re on the home stretch to finish another year.

Photographer Jolanda Jansma, the “Duchess,” always double checks her pockets for her A-game when we get out of the car for a championship game. It was no different Saturday when No. 1-ranked Alcoa bested second-ranked Covington, 21-14, at Tennessee Tech’s Tucker Stadium.
