There was talk of dropping football at Copper Basin his eighth-grade year.

The Magnificent Seven, as they came to be known, almost never happened.

Eric Sisson added another chapter to an already charmed career when the Copper Hill native was named the leader to become the starter at quarterback following Maryville College’s intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday.
