Who she is: The “Mighty Mouse” second baseman in the middle of the Maryville High School infield.

Why we like her: Kalie is the difference between a second baseman who can throw the ball to first base and one who kind of chicken wing’s it over there. You have to have great feet to get your body out of the way to make a smooth throw. It can be hard to get noticed when you’ve got an All-American high school shortstop to your right, a sticky-gloved first baseman to your left, and what amounts to one of those t-shirt launchers they use in big football stadiums at third.
Kalie’s got some skills. Nice kid, too.
