Epic duel sees Carter drop historic numbers

Retired Alcoa Police Officer Bud Cooper has been the scorekeeper for the Alcoa girls basketball team since his daughter was a player there in the early 2000s.

He took over the boys book Jahvin Carter’s freshman season.

Over the last four years, Cooper has watched Carter unleash some fearsome feats of scoring.

“A lot,” he said.
