The fun part was watching two of the state’s top football prospects go at it on the hardwood.

Alcoa’s Eli Owens and Brainerd’s Donivon Thomas delivered a mighty tussle as the Tornadoes and Panthers, respectively, fought it out in a Class 2A semifinal inside the Murphy Center at Middle Tennessee State University on Friday.
