Powell — Every year, the skill on display at the middle school level only gets better and better.
The Alcoa and West Valley middle school boys teams battled to a 35-30 decision in a region semifinal recently, the Wolves taking the win, following a couple days later with the region title in a victory over Maryville Junior High.
