Knoxville — It wasn’t as if Maryville had never beaten Bearden.

Besting the Lady Bulldogs on their home floor, however, had always alluded Scott West in his nine seasons as the Lady Rebel coach. Something always went wrong, that is until last Thursday’s 61-45 triumph in the Region 2AAA championship game.
