Maryville’s versatility could be scary good

The KSO doesn’t have this many players.
Maryville turned the ball over four times in the opening half, but a veritable symphony of playmakers on offense hardly missed a beat en route to a 47-14 win over Bearden Friday night at Shields Stadium.
Five Rebels scored touchdowns in the contest, with receivers Ashton Maples and A.J. Davis doubling down, as Maryville (2-0) closed the first half on a wild, 47-yard Hail Mary-heave from quarterback Cade Chambers to Maples.
The Chambers toss traveled 60 yards in the air from the launch point at the Rebel 45.
