Maryville Rebs mission specialist Christian Markham put on an eye-catching display at last weekend’s Parks & Rec midget super bowl at Maryville High School’s Shields Stadium. A name to remember, Markham is this week’s Aubrey’s Blount Press Row Player of the Week.

The Rebs signal caller sprinted through Alcoa’s defense for a pair of rushing touchdowns as Maryville capped an undefeated season with a 52-0 shutout of the Tornadoes in coach Don Sentell’s 49^th year at the helm of the Rebs youth program. A pick-six from Markham on defense showcased impressive speed.

Sentell launched the Maryville program during the Kennedy administration.
