Heritage stuffed an opponent’s opening drive for the first time this season, forcing a South-Doyle punt after four downs.
A short field helped the Cherokees get started a possession later, and the South-Doyle defense did the rest as the Mountaineers succumbed in a shutout, 40-0, on homecoming on Friday.
