For those in attendance, the blankets were out and the jackets were well and truly on.
It was one of those “it’s really nice out from inside the car” kinda days at William Blount High School Wednesday night. The combination of a really bitter wind and a sinking sun made for pretty rough conditions.
The chill in the air did nothing to prevent plenty of fire and fight out on the field, and both sets of supporters were in good voice. In a surprisingly lively atmosphere, Lenior City found the Governor net in the closing minutes to extract a 1-0 District 4AAA win.
