Lady Mountaineers roll big behind in-school full house

The crowd was boisterous and the bats were booming for the Heritage Lady Mountaineers in a 10-5 district win over crosstown rival William Blount Tuesday afternoon.

“For us to come out swinging the bats today was nice to see,” Heritage coach Mark Dowlen said. “We went into a cold spot with the bats going into our own tournament. To get our bats going again was exactly what I wanted to see.”
