After a dominant 10-0 win in a make-up game against Bearden Tuesday night, the Maryville Lady Rebels were poised for a seventh-inning comeback in the second half of the double header but came up short, 3-0.
“I told the girls apparently Bearden doesn’t read the papers because they didn’t know who Maryville was, nor did they care,” Maryville coach David Allen said. “I told them there are a lot of teams in our district that can play and if you give them a little hope that’s what going to happen.”
