The administration felt it. More important to Maryville College athletics director Kandis Schram, the players felt it.

Schram ended the wait Friday afternoon, announcing the former Huntingdon College receivers coach as the new head coach of the Scots. A Maryville search committee sought the input of 50 players on each of the four finalists. Rader, Schram said, made an impression on the Scots too significant to ignore.
